order tobacco? It is the position of the Seneca Nation of Indians that their territories are sovereign Indian nation lands. As such, the Seneca Nation government and its citizens have always retained the right of free commerce and enterprise with anyone either within or outside the territorial bounds. The Seneca Nation also regards New York as possessing no authority to regulate or limit Indian commerce. This is based on the long-standing treaties and agreements between New York State and the Seneca Nation. Thus, we will hold by our treaties and continue to assert Seneca Nation jurisdiction to provide our customers access to tobacco products. Why can’t I place an order using
my Mastercard/Visa or Discover credit card? Due to recent State pressures on credit card companies, Cheapsmokesbymail.com is unable to process Mastercard/Visa or Discover credit cards as of March 20th, 2005. These companies revoked our contracts with them based solely on the information provided to them by State Attorney Generals at a recent conference. The conference did not represent a court of law and the Seneca Nation was not present to address the wild charges made against Indian owned tobacco companies by various State officials. does and will continue to accept money orders and checks. Many of our customers
already pay for tobacco products via money order or check. Actually, we are now
encouraging our customers to use money orders and checks, as it reduces our per
transaction cost [driven up by the very same credit card companies]. When
